(Spoiler alert: she was eventually acquitted of the crime, but the trailer suggests that there will be enough intrigue to keep audiences on the edge of their seats.) It's my body, my space. As long as heads of state continue to collaborate with the world’s largest emitters, their climate talks aren’t vital negotiations; they are annual performances meant solely to appease us. Their incessant failures to actively combat the crisis at hand should not lead us to clap in awe when we are given the bare minimum, but rather spur us to organize and to remove polluters from all decision-making, whether by kicking them out of current spaces, or creating our own.
