I spent this summer standing outside talking to strangers as a fellow for NextGen America, a progressive organization dedicated to registering young voters and getting them to the polls through grassroots, face-to-face conversations. Every day, my team and I connected with young people at festivals, breweries, town squares, and their front doors to ask about the issues they face and how we can fix them together.
