This film definitely shows a completely different side of Chris, but he was more than ready for a mature role. "It was an opportunity, and when opportunity knocks you have to take it. It felt so grown-up," he admits. It turns out his longtime friendship with Riley, who also produced the flick, paid off when it was time to begin the search for the movie’s star. "I was in Ohio visiting my family last summer, and I got a phone call from her saying, ’Dude, you need to meet the director, Hank [Bedford].’ We met in the East Village in New York City for lunch and we really hit it off.
